The Read it Loud! Campaign is a broad-based coalition of donors, partners and sponsors brought together by founders The Read it Loud Foundation, the Library of Congress and its Center for the Book.   Our goal is to raise $5,000,000 over three years - $1 per participating family.   Early sponsors include the Library of Congress/Center for the Book, U.S. Dept. of Education, Wally “Famous Amos”  (Chip & Cookie/Uncle Wally’s Muffins), George Argyris (Arnel Group), Del Smith (Evergreen Intn’l. Aviation), Verizon, General Dynamics/Gulf Stream, Fred Master (Hartekreet Foundation), Mike Weintraub (Million Dollar Roundtable), Fullerton Family Foundation, Children’s Book Council, First Book,  Boys and Girls Clubs of America, and REACTRIX

Through a public education campaign, our goal is to motivate 5,000,000 parents to read at least 10 minutes a day to young children.  Join the Expedition -- help 5,000,000 parents inspire children to discover their world through reading and ignite their creativity and capability.

It is our hope that Strategic sponsors could play a dual role: 1.  providing incentives and benefits to club members through the Discovery Passport including books, travel, prizes, discounts, promotions, vacations, parties, events, tickets, shipping, special merchandise, etc.; and 2. creating their own promotions, which would extend the reach of our campaign to retail channels, multiple web sites and advertising. They could stage contests, events, give aways, sign ups, gatherings, etc.
