The Promise is your commitment to make a difference in your child’s
life by reading to him or her for 10 minutes a day. Reading aloud to your child
will help build a strong foundation for language, learning and a promising future.
It is up to you to choose what to read, where and when to snuggle up, and what scary
voices and funny expressions to use (kids say this is the most fun).
After making your Promise, you also have the option to access a variety of incentives
and rewards that are being offered to participating Read it LOUD! families by our
many partners and friends across the nation.
